Strategic Storytelling & Persuasion

In COM 211, Introduction to Rhetorical Research, I wrote a grant proposal for The San Diego LGBT Community Center. This project improved my persuasive writing, research skills, and ability to communicate with a specific audience.

In COM 494, Communication Capstone, the goal of this project was to use photography to support The San Diego LGBT Community Center’s Serving FACE: Runway for Revolution event by capturing images that depict community participation, self-expression, and civic engagement.  These images will help promote the organization’s programs and strengthen connections with the audience.

Analytical Media Literacy & Crisis Communication

In COM 350, Sports Communication, I looked into systemic abuse and reputational crises in the NWSL. This experience helped me better understand power, media framing, and ethical responsibility in sports.

In JOUR 411, Digital Newsroom, I covered the Las Vegas housing crisis and made complex economic data easier for readers to understand.

Project Management

At IGT, I manage content for major national campaigns and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results. This role has helped me become flexible, tech-savvy, collaborative, and able to solve problems even when things get busy.

I founded The Girls and Company and launched a digital magazine, shaping its brand voice, editorial style, and online strategy from the ground up.

As a photographer, I capture moments that tell a story without words and have learned how to connect with people in many different settings.

These roles have improved my planning, organization, and ability to bring creative ideas to life.
